Three design tips from Tapeto
- Less is more: The striking patterns of designer wallpapers by Rashid should be used moderately to not overwhelm the eye. For this reason, they are perfectly suited to accentuate individual walls or room sections. Combine wallpapers in plain colours or with quieter decors, which take up the colours of the patterned wallpaper.
- Pop culture revival: Karim Rashid loves to work with the organic shapes and pop colours of the seventies when designing his creations. The room is particularly stylish when you choose the appropriate furniture for this wallpaper design, such as round tables and plastic chairs or design pieces which reflect the curved design language of the wallpaper. So, you can bring the trendy pop art look of the sixties and seventies into your own four walls.
- Small works of art, perfectly staged: With their artistic designs, the designer wallpapers act as small works of art in a room if you use single lengths. With the appropriate lighting, you can stage them even better. One possibility is a large design lamp, placed directly in front of the decorated wall. Very effective is also indirect lighting with small spots in the ceiling or on the floor.
